Finally done watching ADP videos.

As the title suggest, I have been watching the ADP videos from 3D Buzz and watched them whenever I could to catch up to what's been happening. The good thing about this is that now I can also take up my ADP project again. Before I do that however, I will need to re-organize some stuff and figure out where I want to go from here on.

On another note, sometime next week I hope for my portfolio to be up and running again. But not only that, I will reshape the portfolio into a better visually representation of a portfolio and easier navigation. I will also need to update stuff on it and take away whatever I don't feel confident in, bad work with other words.

So, the ball is rolling again!

Long time no update

So yeah. I've been busy like crazy with creating my portfolio site while holding my own against the ADP class AND running my company. There are some things that I need figuring out, like if I should continue to use this blog for updates what's been going on or if I should create my own now on the portfolio site. The thing is that blogger already has some awesome features which I do NOT want to create by myself.
Meaning that if I do create a blog of some sort, it will be very simple without many features. And maybe just maybe in the future I will develop that blog to include whatever I need.

But I'll see what I come up with and till such time where I have time to continue write, cause right now I'm quite busy and my fingers are rather stale making typing hard, and I hit the wrong buttons all the time.

So first thing first, breakfast! Then I'll come back with an answer or just ramble.

ADP Videos

So, I told myself that I would finish the storyboard yesterday but I got second thoughts about to whereas I should do it. The reason to why that was, was because I need to think up the title, the project name, the project "team" name and a few more. Now the title and project team name isn't important but what is important is that I need to know how long those things are going to be and how much things are actaully gonna show, and I do not know that currently so that means I cannot work with that just yet. Instead what I gonna do is take some time now and watch the ADP (Advanced Digital Production) videos. Now it's mostly the introductions to those different programs I'm gonna be using but I think it's important that I at least one have watch them through so that I have stored that info at the back of my head. Then later I will have easier to learn those things that I may have forgot.

I've also been thinking of creating a website, more like a portfolio, with work in progress, finished work, information/bio and other stuff. It's just that I don't have that much time and with another such big project will be very much in my already busy schedule, which was why I didn't just went ahead and create one before. But now I see that maybe I won't have a choice. As I want more control to how to manage my files, images, videos and overall look. And with this Blogspot, well for one I will be limited to only 1GB (which is quite much) but sooner or later I will be needing more. There may come a time where you will be permitted more space in the future but that's not something I'm taking my chances on. In a 3D/CG production environment you quickly will get to the point where it exceeds that amount, and plus as I said, I want more control on those other things.

But yeah, this whole day I'm gonna take to skim through those ADP videos and I'll see what I'm gonna come up with.

Update on the character

Just a minor update on his shins, I fixed to look more natural, however there's a bit more work that needs to be done, like the 'Achilles tendon' (I think it's called), the back knee joint and the overall upper muscle on this shin.

So, here I come with an update on what's actually going on. As even though it looks like I'm not working at all I have been busy pretty much all the time.

So here's the thing:
I am currently writing a story and starting to organize the storyboard. A storyboard is not just drawing what takes place, but is in fact a lot of work with the different scenes, shots, sequences, pages, line and scene description, time start & end along with frames start & end and much more.
And as I am serious about this and professional I need to carefully plan this so that I do not confuse myself, and yet make it simple enough for anyone who wants to later join the project.

But yeah, so right now I am just starting with the storyboard. I have finished writing the first part of the film, and just that is a lot of work. I do however plan on being finished with this before the start of the next week so, keep your eyes open for updates on Monday.

Other than that, I embrace myself for the opening of my company. I can only work with this project (Eto.101) on my sparetime as I've mentioned before. Wish me luck!
