Today I bought a domain that I will be using as my portfolio. I wasn't able to find a place for my server to be at so I had to go with a webhotel. I don't mind really, it is incredibly cheep and it will be up 24/7 so I won't have to worry about issues I had before.
So, from now on my online portfolio domain is going to be: www.kurotorobert.com
I had a different before but I didn't like it too much in the end and it was too much hassle to move that one over to the new provider.
When time permits I will be re-creating my portfolio from the ground up and add more stuff to it. Now that provider also provides a blog, however I don't know if I will be using that blog, as I will upload images and stuff and I have a limited space for that now. We'll see what I'll do.
Cheers.
This is my 3D blog where I take up anything from my work that involves 3D or the process around 3D, meaning post and pre-production, texturing, animation, special effects etc. Hope you enjoy it.

Portfolio back online
My portfolio is now once again back online. That are good news, however I will be renovating that site for a while now. I don't like how it's build up and I've been looking at other peoples portfolio websites. Hmpf, suddenly all my time just went away.
Anyway, it's good to have a site again up though, now it needs to be nice and easy to follow.
The adress is: http://www.kuroto-robert.net

My portfolio down
Hi there. I come to you with the announcement that my portfolio site (www.kuroto-robert.net) is down. The reason is that the server needs to be relocated and we haven't found a place to have at yet. We think we have a place (the server is not mine alone hence 'we') but it will take some time to get it up and running.
In the meantime, this blog will serve as a summary portfolio.

Ramble
So, I've been busy busy for the last couple of weeks. But that's not the reason why I haven't posted anything here. It's because I'm rather confused and out there. Anyway, I've started something called "Models of the Month" where I do one model each day for the month. However, I picked a bad month in doing those as I don't have time to model one extra independent model each day unless it's rather simple.
Too busy and too much other things going on.
HOWEVER, so as a compromise for not continuing the Models of the Month thingie I've decided to give ADP and Project Eto.101 more time and dedication.
As a side note, I've gone back to Fedora now and going with Linux. I just need to get my programs working with Linux so that I can be here 100%.
As a last thing, if you wanna take a look at some of the models I've made you'd need to go to my portfolio site as I don't have time nor actually have any of the models on this Linux distro/computer. I've actually signed up for a domain name for the portfolio site so the URL is simpler.
www.kuroto-robert.net
The actual models are in the 'Finished Projects - Single 3D Models' area. Enjoy.
PS. I also included those models on my 3D Buzz blog (www.3dbuzz.com).

Long time no update
So yeah. I've been busy like crazy with creating my portfolio site while holding my own against the ADP class AND running my company. There are some things that I need figuring out, like if I should continue to use this blog for updates what's been going on or if I should create my own now on the portfolio site. The thing is that blogger already has some awesome features which I do NOT want to create by myself.
Meaning that if I do create a blog of some sort, it will be very simple without many features. And maybe just maybe in the future I will develop that blog to include whatever I need.
But I'll see what I come up with and till such time where I have time to continue write, cause right now I'm quite busy and my fingers are rather stale making typing hard, and I hit the wrong buttons all the time.
So first thing first, breakfast! Then I'll come back with an answer or just ramble.
In the meantime, check out the portfolio site and if you have any comments, critiques and such feel free to email me or respond on the forum.
Thanks.

Portfolio site
So, I've decided to finally create my own portfolio site. I've been thinking of doing that for probably over a year or even more perhaps. The thing was that I had almost no time or found other sites that could host my work. But at the end of the day it's still better to have your own site where you apply your own rules and aren't restricted by stuff like maximum upload limit, filetypes, management systems and alike.
My portfolio is hosted on Origion Studios website, link below. It's still not much to see as I've just started to add the main files today, but more will come over time.
I've also watched lots of ADP videos and now am gonna go ahead and create the concept art for project Eto.101. So if things go ok I will be done with these soon enough. On monday I start up my company officially and a LOT of my time will go poof away :p So I won't be able to work on project Eto.101, or other things as much as I have been able to this past week. I am however looking forward to that as I finally will have stuff organized, and the most important thing is time.
